Aaron Pilsan was crowned “Best Young Artist of 2011” by the Fono Forum magazine and participated in the 2014 edition of the Rising Stars program organized by the European Concert Hall Organization, thus earning invitations to Europe’s most prestigious venues.
Born in 1995, the pianist is a regular guest at leading festivals, including the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Schwetzingen Festival, the Ruhr Piano Festival and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. In 2018, Deutsche Grammophon released “HOME”, a tribute to Aaron’s hometown in Austria, recorded with cellist Kian Soltani. Aaron Pilsan records for the renowned French label Alpha Classics. You can find his discography here. His latest CD with the first volume of J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier on Alpha Classics has been highly acclaimed by the international press.
Aaron Pilsan studied with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Mozarteum and with Lars Vogt in Hanover.
