Aaron Pilsan was crowned “Best Young Artist of 2011” by the Fono Forum magazine and participated in the 2014 edition of the Rising Stars program organized by the European Concert Hall Organization, thus earning invitations to Europe’s most prestigious venues.
Born in 1995, he is a regular guest at leading festivals, including the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Schwetzinger Festspiele, the Klavier-Festival Ruhr und the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
His debut CD released on the Naive label achieved the greatest acclaim from international critics. In a later album entitled Home, which was recorded with cellist Kian Soltani and released in 2018 on the Deutsche Grammophon label, Aaron paid tribute to Austria, his native country.
Aaron Pilsan studied under Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and Lars Vogt in Hanover.
