Marie Rosa Günter, Germany

Born in Braunschweig, Marie Rosa Günter studied with Matti Raekallio, Jelena Levit and Bernd Goetzke in Hanover. She already enjoyed competition success as a young girl. She performs regularly as a soloist and with orchestras such as the Göttingen Symphonieorchester. Fond of Bach’s piano music, she achieved the highest score at four festivals dedicated to the composer (Köthener Bachfesttage, Würzburger Bachtage, Braunschweig Classix Festival and Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival).

Her first CD with the Goldberg Variations released on the Genuin Classics label was highly praised by the critics and received the Pizzicato Supersonic Award.
