Lorenzo Soulès was born in Lyon in 1992 and studied under Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich at the University of Music and Dance in Cologne. In addition, he took lessons with Alicia de Larrocha in Barcelona from 2006 to 2009 and worked with her on the entire Iberia cycle by Isaac Albéniz.
In 2012, at the age of twenty, he made a clean sweep of the awards at the Concours International de Genève, becoming one of the most successful laureates in the long history of this prestigious competition. His debut CD with works by Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and Scriabin, which received glowing reviews in France, was released on the Nascor label.
A regular guest at festivals such as the Klavier-Festival Ruhr and the Aldeburgh Festival, Lorenzo has already performed at Radio France in Paris, the Tonhalle in Zurich and the Royal Festival Hall in London.
