Amadeus Wiesensee was born in Munich and studied under Antti Siirala in his native city and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling in Salzburg. He has participated in festivals such as the Würzburger Mozartfest, the Klavier-Festival Ruhr and the Rheingau Musik Festival and performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, the Heidelberger Philharmoniker, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and the Bad Reichenhaller Philharmoniker. Moreover, he has appeared live on Bavarian television and on radio stations such as BR, WDR and SWR on several occasions. In the 2021/22 season, he was be the first Artist in Residence of the Beethoven House in Bonn. In 2021, Amadeus Wiesensee won the Bavarian Art Promotion Award 2021 in the field of music.
