Hanni Liang was born in Bielefeld in 1993 and gained early success in competitions and concerts. Among others, she won First Prize at the Concorso Pianistico Internazionale di Roma. Recitals have taken her to various countries (Austria, China, Italy, Poland, Spain) and she has performed at several festivals (Schumannfest, Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Gezeitenkonzerte, Chopin Festival in Warsaw).

A successful member of the TONALi association since 2013, she is an excellent performer as evidenced by the extraordinary recitals she gives.

She studied under Bernd Goetzke in Hanover and Matthias Kirschnereit in Rostock.
