2017 gewann Giuseppe Guarrera den 2. Preis und fünf weitere Preise beim Montreal International Competition. Aus Sizilien stammend schloss Guarrera 2018 sein Studium an der Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin bei Nelson Goerner ab.
In 2017, Giuseppe Guarrera won Second Prize and five other awards at the Montreal International Competition. Hailing from Sicily, he graduated in 2018 from the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin with Nelson Goerner. That same year, he won the Tabor Foundation Award presented by the Verbier Festival Academy, was a recipient of a scholarship awarded by the prestigious Klavier-Festival Ruhr, and was inducted into the Young Classical Artists Trust.
He has performed as a soloist with various ensembles, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra del Teatro la Fenice.
Before joining the Barenboim-Said Academy, he studied in Italy under Siavush Gadjiev and Giuseppe Cultrera, and at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin under Eldar Nebolsin.
