From October 18 - 20, 2024, the 10th Carl Bechstein Competition for Children and Young People took place in the Kulturstall of Schloss Britz in Berlin-Neukölln. This year in the “Piano solo” category.

Special Prizes at Landesmusikwettbewerb Berlin 2024
In 2024, the foundation once again awarded two special prizes of €500 each at the state competition “Jugend musiziert” (Youth Makes Music). The winners were sisters Eva and Annika Lietz and the duo Raphael Türk and Milena Le May.
