A new piano for the elementary school in Bornstedter Feld in Potsdam

A focus on music from the 1st grade on, recorders for everyone, orchestra, choir and a cooperation with a private music school – the elementary school in Bornstedter Feld has been offering all this to its students for some time.

Now a new priority was to be put on piano playing and the school applied to our foundation. After the successful application phase, it was able to receive its new piano just two months later.

The piano has arrived safely at the school, has been tuned twice and can finally be taken possession of by the students after the many weeks of school closure due to corona.

The school principal Mrs. Tiedmann wrote to us:

“Many, many thanks for providing the piano. Unfortunately, we could not use the piano in the 2nd school semester due to Corona, but already yesterday our music teacher Gina Simon tried it out with the kids right away. Justus in the photo is very happy that he can now play on a piano.”

We hope that now there will be no more interruptions and wish the school many wonderful hours with its new instrument!
