Since June 2017, the Dr. Walter Asam School in Neuburg an der Donau has been using a W. Hoffmann piano donated by the Carl Bechstein Foundation.

The school offers its students instrumental lessons in the subjects guitar, flute and piano as part of the weekly AGs, and there is also an AG choir. Here, the piano is used as a solo and accompanying instrument, but in the opinion of the school management, it is also an excellent way to communicate music theory. Eight students are currently receiving piano lessons on the foundation instrument.

The school writes to us:

“At the celebratory concerts in June 2018 and June 2019, some students were able to present their skills on “our” piano to a large audience. Also at these two concerts, the foundation piano was the central accompanying instrument for all musical performances.”

We wish you many more wonderful hours filled with music!
