Marvin Tint

Beitrag vom20. August 2021

Marvin Maung Tint was born in Hamburg in 2004 to Burmese parents. He has been learning piano with Andreas Stier since the age of seven and violin with Christo Draganov since 2014. His special love is the piano, however, and he has been receiving lessons in Vienna from pianist Elisabeth Eschwé since 2016.

He won First Prizes at the 2015 and 2016 editions of the Hamburg Instrumental Competition, at the 2016 Jugend musiziert competition (Piano Duo category) and at the 2017 edition of the same competition at national level (Piano Solo category). Still in 2017, he was also granted a scholarship from the Carl Bechstein Foundation.

In 2016, Marvin participated in a master class where he stood out for his talent and musicality, so that he was invited to perform in Vienna.

In addition to music, he likes playing badminton and reads a lot, especially books about musicians.
