Andrian Michael Boelcke was born in 2009 and began playing the piano at a very early age. He gave his first public performance at the age of four. Since then, he has participated in numerous recitals and concerts, including at Britz Castle, the Red Town Hall in Berlin, and the “Neue Welt” concert hall in Zwickau.
He has received many awards, including in 2018 at the Chappell Competition of the German-Chinese Youth Days and at the international competition of the Academy of Arts ASK Berlin. His participation in Jugend musiziert was honored with first prizes and, in 2020, with a Bechstein special prize. At the national competition in Zwickau in 2023, he also won first prize with the highest score in the “piano solo” category, as well as the Bechstein Special Prize in the form of a monthly scholarship. The German Music Foundation also honored Andrian with a special prize. In the same year, he was awarded a “High Distinction” (at the “Practical Grade 8” level) in the ABRSM examination of the Royal Music Schools of the United Kingdom and won the Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition in Hamburg. In 2025, at the age of 15, he played Chopin’s complete 24 études, op. 10 and op. 25, in the packed hall of the Schwartzsche Villa in Berlin.
ndrian sang in the Berlin State and Cathedral Choir for three years and has been a passionate cello player since the age of four. He was a member of the Arndt Gymnasium Berlin School Orchestra III. He also has a keen interest in robotics and loves long walks in nature.
