Discovering the world of music with all your senses makes you smart, strong and sensitive. MUBIKIN opens the door to this world for children and young people in Nuremberg. Embedded in everyday pedagogical life, in a familiar environment and in a group, they are to gain activating musical experiences. This strengthens their self-confidence and has a lasting positive effect on the development of their personality. MUBIKIN is free of charge for parents and does not depend on the children’s background or social environment. The goal is to provide continuous musical support for the children for several years.
MUBIKIN includes various program contents – from the qualification of kindergartens in the field of music education to lessons by external specialist teachers as well as interactive participatory concerts on site in the facilities and schools.
The Carl Bechstein Foundation has already provided a piano to several schools participating in Mubikin.
