The “Berliner Schulpate” supports elementary schools in socially deprived areas. Founded by the Berlin Chamber of Skilled Crafts and funded by the Berlin Senate Administration, the initiative aims to bring together companies, committed citizens and elementary schools to actively contribute to improving the learning and teaching situation. Through the mediation of the “Schulpate”, the Adolf Glaßbrenner School in Berlin received a piano from the Carl Bechstein Foundation.
