Successful Bechstein competition at Pianohaus Kemp
Beitrag vom26. May 2025

This year, 48 talented participants registered to perform a program of their choice from the categories “classical” or “jazz/rock/pop” in front of an expert jury from the University of Osnabrück in various age groups (children, teenagers, adults). The competition ended with a prize-winners’ concert, at which all the first-place winners presented excerpts from their programs once again.
Everyone was very well prepared, played courageously—some for the first time—and with great motivation in front of an audience, and can be very proud of their achievements!
The Carl Bechstein Foundation once again agreed to cover the prize money for the first-place children and young people (see below), which was presented this year by Jens-Uwe Lemcke from C. Bechstein.
