Special prize at the ARD International Music Competition

In 2025, we were once again able to award the Carl Bechstein Special Prize, administered in trust by the Carl Bechstein Foundation, at the ARD International Music Competition.

We congratulate Misora Ozaki on winning the Carl Bechstein Special Prize of the Wolf-Dieter Rühl Foundation, which we were awarded again this year at the ARD Music Competition. The prize includes a CD recording in Berlin in cooperation with the GENUIN label.

Misora Ozaki began studying piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in 2018, joined Antti Siirala’s master class in 2022, and has also been enrolled in the Excellence in Performance program since 2024. She is also the winner of third prize at the 3rd International Piano Competition in Orléans.
