Music for everyone: Musethica concerts enable people who, due to their circumstances, do not have the opportunity to attend a concert to enjoy classical music. We are delighted to be collaborating with this wonderful project.
When we were approached by the Musethica association in the spring, we were immediately impressed by the concept: exceptionally talented young musicians, under the guidance of tutors, give concerts in unusual venues for people who have limited or no access to classical concerts. They perform chamber music concerts in schools, hospitals, hospices, etc.
Beyond the concert hall, the young musicians can improve their interpretive skills. In addition to gaining concert experience, they can also get to know a diverse audience.
“Musethica reminds me why I chose to become a musician in the first place. Seeing the honest, unabashed, and genuine reactions to the music at the social concerts gave me the most wonderful feeling of connection and has defined my relationship with music ever since.” (Fanny Fheodoroff)
The project is also a huge win for the institutions, which do not have to bear any costs for the concerts. People who are unable to visit a classical concert hall due to illness, disability, or financial reasons are given the opportunity to enjoy classical music.
We are delighted that Musethica approached us, enabling us to arrange venues for two fantastic concerts. In November, concerts were held at the Fichtelgebirge Primary School in Berlin and at GIB, a charity that promotes the social inclusion of disabled people. As both institutions have a piano from our foundation, the line-up could be expanded to include a piano quartet.
We are delighted to have contributed to this wonderful project.
