Memorandum of Cooperation with Ukraine

Distinguished visitors at the C. Bechstein Center Berlin: Mykola Tochytskyi, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, and Embassy Counselor Alisia Podolyak met in Berlin with Iryna Noniashvili, Director of the newly founded Ukrainian Carl Bechstein Foundation, and Viktor Mykhailov from the Carl Bechstein Salon Kiev. The minister and our Ukrainian representatives signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of music education. Carl Bechstein Aid for Ukraine gGmbH, represented yesterday by its managing director Stefan Freymuth, plans to donate a large number of pianos to Ukrainian music schools in the coming months. The cooperation with the ministry is an important building block in the preparation of this major project.
